Unprofessional behavior!!

I just went on to the American Expats forum I belong to that I mentioned yesterday and I can't believe what I saw...
As I mentioned yesterday, there was a post left about my blog on the site. A really nice post that actually made my day. Today, I went to see the activity of that post and saw a response left by the girl that runs the site, claiming that me and the girl that left it the post, share the same IP address! Stating and I quote - " Why are you posting using the ***** account and your own account? The ip addresses are the same" She didn't ask if I was posting with two different accounts she asked why I was - accusing me of being dishonest in a very public forum.
1st of all - unless my husband left the post, which I highly doubt - it's just NOT true! 2nd - I'm a tech and used to be a network administrator! I know how the forums work, and would never do such a thing knowing full well I'd be found out! Not to mention that it's not in my nature to pat myself on the back or to be so deceitful!
What I can't believe is that this girl would be so horribly unprofessional! Here are the facts - either she didn't like something about the post and became malicious (not a real stretch of the imagination when talking about women) or my husband did leave the post as a way to make me feel good about what I'm trying to accomplish (which I HIGHLY doubt, but I'll discuss it with him tonight). What ever the case, it's highly unprofessional for her to post such a thing on a public forum insinuating that it was ME who left the post! If she suspected me of anything she could have contacted me privately to get the facts. I'm just shocked by this behavior from someone who is making money from this site! Yes, I PAID for my membership to that forum! I'm disgusted! I joined that forum to connect with people in the same situation as me. I joined it to try and meet people not be slandered and upset!

Er, I'm sorry you're having such a bad day. I read today's *entry. Please don't let it get to you. They're strangers and don't matter. Keep your chin up.

Thanks Min. You're right. I'm just missing my friends. A different day and maybe it wouldn't have bothered me so much. I guess I've just been feeling lonely and I didn't expect such garbage from fellow expats.
When I said on the forum that I wasn't going to use it anymore, one of the moderators said and 'Don't let the door hit you on the way out dear' She's really professional too! I printed it in anger thinking I'd use it to get my money back, but I decided they aren't worth it. I'll feel better when I get to talk to Wayne tonight. They moved the post to a non public area so I'll get over it.
I'm just not myself lately. I don't let petty things get to me. It's not the first time I've been bothered by people on there, but it's never ruined my day before.

Top 20 Lists

Recently, a magazine here in the UK issued their list of their Top 100 women in show business. This sparked conversation between Wayne and I and one rainy weekend when we had nothing to do, we compiled our own Top 20 lists. The rules were we had to judge on looks alone (not their physique) and only one token model was allowed. For fun, I thought I'd add our lists here for you to view and enjoy. Maybe it will even spark conversation between you and a friend or loved one. Wayne and I actually had a really good time creating our lists together - judging each other's taste in the opposite sex and laughing over how long it took for us to prioritize our selections. We still change the order every time we look at it! (although our top five have remained the same) Enjoy and feel free to comment!

Fight Club for Five Year Olds - Part 2

The other mother and I went into the school to meet with the teacher and the assistant head.  We both let them know how upset we were that we were not informed that our children were sent to the office and how much we were against the children being allowed to play fighting games on the playground.  I told them I wouldn't allow it at home and I'm really unhappy that it's being allowed at school.  They admitted it was a problem and explained that they are planning to introduce a a scheme to teach the children to play in a safe way.  They will be calling it 'Super Hero Training'.  They plan to give out capes & masks out to children who behave well as rewards at playtime.  They will have assemblies where they will teach the children to play fighting games without making contact.  I find this to be absurd.  The problem has gone on to long and I doubt they will be able to teach little children to change their games when they have sixty other children to look after on

Playing with my new lens...

I got a new camera lens for my birthday last week.  I don't have a lot of time to play with it, but this is one of the first shots I took...
